What we do

Gorilla Grub kitchen provides meal plans, advice and ideas based on a whole foods plant-based diet to anyone who wants to lose weight or improve their health.

A whole food plant-based diet has been proven to reverse heart disease, type 2 diabetes, some cancers, many autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and Lupus, improve digestion,  skin health, and aid with weight loss.

It’s also better for the planet because growing plants use fewer resources than rearing animals for food.

There is no ‘one size fits all’ diet that people can eat and everyone gets the same results but a whole foods plant-based diet is eaten by the people who live the longest and healthiest lives on the planet demonstrating a clear track to health and longevity.

Food is very emotive and we eat for many reasons other than hunger. We are driven by some very strong survival mechanisms that when faced with high-calorie foods our ability to stop eating is overridden. This would have kept us alive in times of famine and feast but in today's world we only face the feast, and we do this daily.

What we consider as food today is barely recognisable from what we ate 100 years ago. Many foods are just chemicals and over-processed grains with all the goodness removed. These foods mess with our body's natural ability to regulate hunger and satiety making us overeat even when we feel full.

Gorilla Grub Kitchen can help you to understand what is driving you to eat certain foods, we can support you and give you some accountability and we will show you how to make delicious, low calorie, high-density foods that will leave you feeling full and satisfied.
